There exist the local, or intrinsic, muscles and the global muscles in our feet, both of which are essential to our everyday activities. Our feet’s arches are also necessary for maintaining proper foot function. Training and strengthening your feet are important in preventing foot injuries. Different exercises for your feet include the short foot exercise, toe splaying, big toe presses, leg swings, and calf raises.
